Working principle of industrl flash dryer?

  1. Material Introduction: Wet material is fed into the drying chamber via a feeder or screw mechanism, ensuring consistent distribution.
  2. Instantaneous Heating: The material encounters a high-velocity hot gas stream (usually air or nitrogen) within the dryer, swiftly raising the temperature.
  3. Intensive Contact: In the turbulent environment of the dryer, the hot gas comes into immediate contact with the material particles, causing instantaneous evaporation of moisture.
  4. Drying and Disintegration: Moisture evaporates rapidly from the material’s surface. The intense heat causes disintegration, breaking down larger particles into smaller, dried particles.
  5. Separation and Collection: As the material dries, the hot gas carries the dried particles upward, separating them from the moisture-laden gas stream. The dried particles are then collected through a cyclone or a bag filter.
